Artisjus Award to the Director of the Institute

László Norbert Nemes, Director of the Kodály Institute of the Liszt Academy of Music is one of the recipients of the 2020 Artisjus Award for his outstanding pedagogical achievements in the field of classical music. Artisjus is the Hungarian Bureau for Copyright Protection whose primary objective - beyond acting as a legal body - is to recognize the outstanding performances and achievements of the contemporary musical artists of all genre. Congratulations to László!

Stolen Times - new CD from Judit Rajk contralto

Judit Rajk's Stolen Time album captures a small portion of the artist’s rich repertoire: Hungarian compositions from the 20th–21st century, through Zoltán Kodály's folk song arrangements to the large-scale monody of Barnabás Dukay, the short, resigned lamentation of Zoltán Jeney, and to the sensitive song on the death of children by Máté Balogh.
