The latest addition to the Institute's Bookshop is the DVD entitled Teaching Piano for Beginners. 

It comes with an explanatory booklet in English and in Hungarian. 

Every year, the Institute organises a 3-5-day long programme in February or March, when, instead of the regular lessons, students have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of special lectures, workshops and other activities that do not fit into the regular timetable. 

The Foundation for the Kodály Institute is pleased to announce the following scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year.

On the occasion of the double Kodály anniversary, teachers of the Academy of Music and its Kodály Institute were invited to several partner universities and institutions in many parts of the world to present Kodály's music pedagogical heritage and compositions in courses and concerts.

The Kodály anniversary event in Kecskemét was organized at the Kodály Institute on 16 December.

Dr Andrea Vigh, rector of the Liszt Ferenc University of Music and Klaudia Szemerey-Pataki, mayor of the town, announced the launch of the Institute's infrastructural development and expansion project.  

The month of December was full of musical events.

Students of the Institute gave concerts, and in open classes they demonstrated what they had learnt during the academic year.
