Events in December

The month of December was full of musical events.
Students of the Institute gave concerts, and in open classes they demonstrated what they had learnt during the academic year.
On 1 and 2 December, the Institute Choir gave an advent concert in Kisjakabfalva.
This event was also made memorable by a gingerbread installation.
The Choir was also invited to the concert of the Kodály School on 14 December.
On 16 December, students of the Institute participated in the wreath-laying ceremony at the Kecskemét Railway Station to commemorate the 135th anniversary of Zoltán Kodály's birth. Later they visited the Kodály Museum in Budapest. In the evening they listened to the anniversary Kodály 135 concert at the Liszt Academy.
