Visit of the Ambassador of South Korea

On 5 November, Kyoo-sok Choe, the Ambassador of the Republic of South Korea to Hungary, visited the Institute. During the walk in the monastery, he got acquainted with the history of the building, the antecedents of the establishment of the Institute.
Norbert Nemes László, the director of the Institute, gave information about the teaching and research work at the Institute, its international relations, especially the cooperation with South Korean music institutions. During the meeting, they agreed on how relevant Zoltán Kodály's thoughts on music and art education are today. They emphasized that successful education cannot be imagined without high quality music education.
