Kodály-inspired Education Programme in Cape Verde
The Director of the Kodály Institute László Nemes and Cristina Brito da Cruz, Professor of Music Education, Director of Centro Kodály de Portugal ran a 2-day Kodály-concept training in Praia, Cape Verde.
A group of artistic education teachers from the municipalities of Praia, São Domingos and São Lourenço dos Órgãos joined the course, which continued on the 7th and 8th of April on the island of São Vicente, with the aim of strengthening skills in terms of artistic and musical education.
Promoted by the Ministry of Education, through the National Directorate of Education, in partnership with Cesária Évora Academia de Artes, the training emerged within the scope of cooperation between the governments of Cape Verde and Hungary, in the field of education and culture, developed in 2017.
