Ida Erdei passed away

It is with deep regret that we learned about the passing away (4 April) of Ida Erdei, retired professor of the Kodály Institute.
She worked at the Institute between 1976 and 1995 teaching solfege, music theory and folk music. She held courses in the United States, Denmark, Poland and Ireland, and she regularly taught at the International Kodály Seminars in Kecskemét. She was the editor of the Kodály Seminars publication. Her nice personality and her excellent work as a teacher will remain memorable for everyone.
