Bence Juhász

Bence Juhász is an Orchestral and Choral conductor. Between 2012 and 2016 he studied in the Netherlands at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Jos Vermunt and Jos van Veldhoven. For a semester as an exchange student in 2015 he studied in New York City at the Manhattan School of Music, where Dr. Ronnie Oliver and Kent Tritle were his professors. 

In 2017 he became a student of Salamon Kamp and Csaba Somos at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music - Budapest. He graduated in 2019 from the Master program and at the same year he started his doctoral studies at the Academy, which he finished in 2024. His dissertation's title: Dallapiccola’s Serialism in the Canti di prigionia. 

Since September 2023 he is a teacher of the Kodály Institute.

For a semester in 2023 he was a faculty member at the University of Szeged, Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts.

Bence is the chief conductor and musical director of two orchestras: St. Stephen Jubilee Symphony Orchestra and Musica Sonora. He is a regular guest conductor of the Alba Regia Orchestra, MÁV Symphonic Orchestra and Danubia Orchestra.
