Bartók World Competition - Piano / Solo final 2 Presented by Liszt Academy

The six young pianists who have advanced to the solo final will continue the competition in the Grand Hall. In their 45-minute performance, they must include one of Bartók’s perhaps most important piano works (Improvisations on Hungarian Peasant Songs, Dance Suite, Sonata, or Out of Doors), as well as a freely chosen Romantic and a 20th-century piece. At the end of this round, the jury will select four competitors to advance to the orchestral final.
